Hi,

I have one of these drives OCZSSD2-1ONX32G with the following brackets below. I am having problems getting it into the case its not big enough for the slots also the screw holes are not lining up properly The SSD drive fits ok into the bracket but I cant get it to go in the case correctly do I need to get the proper OCZ bracket?

This is the bracket that I'm currently using:

Kingston 2.5" to 3.5" Hard Drive Bracket and Screws

Please can someone advise,
Thanks

Have you fitted the bracket on the right way round?

You could just stick the drive to the bottom of your case with velcro or blutack

HI,

Thanks for your reply.

I have tried the bracket different ways round and its not the screw holes still don't line up correctly with the case. Is there anything else I can try before getting another bracket? It appears that the width of the bracket is not big enough for my case which is an Antec 300

Is it a "tool-less" case? If you need to add some sliders to the side of your normal 3.5" drives then you will need the same ones for the bracket to get it to fit.

Hi

Thanks for your reply

I have found out that the Atec 300 cAse has a slot for SSD drives at the bottom of the case.

Do new cases all provide drives for SSDs? Buying a new PC next week or so and don't want to be delayed installing the OS on the SSD if it won't fit in the case properly.

Check the product description for the case you are interested in. It should mention the number of 2.5" bays.
Its not a deal-breaker if there aren't any. You can use a spare 3.5" bay or velcro the drive into your case instead :D
