SSD drive running slower - Help

Hi Guys

I have a Dell Studio XPS with a SSD drive (believe its a Samsung ?) Its around 1.5 years old now and its definitely running slower than when it was new. Is there such a programme (as i know defrags are no good) that may re - speed my ssd drive up again or am i hoping for something that simply doesn't exist.

does your ssd support trim? i think the best way to speed it up would be to secure erase the drive and start from scratch and re-install windows

As above check if there's a firmware update and apply it, then secure erase the SSD. When you do a clean install disable all the services that are not needed with a SSD.

Whats the best way to find out what drive i have ?
