Hi,

I've had a OCZ vertex for about two years. Recently windows decides to run chkdsk on it on boot and I lose files.

Some apps suddenly stop working (missing dlls).

Yesterday, I got a flashing cursor and the system would not boot.

Any ideas?

Any ideas on which SSD I should replace it with?

Is OCZ Vertex 2 a good choice or is there a better price/performance option?

Put a post on OCZ and now waiting for a 'fix' to be sent out to me.

There seems to be many posts on there regarding file corruption.

My Vertex is to be RMA-ed. :(

The response from OCZ was good and they sent me a 'destructive flash' to try but it did not work. They subsequently sent me RMA instructions.

As this was a boot drive and I needed a working PC, I went and bought a Crucial C300 64GB as a replacement.
