hi there guys,

I wonder if I could have some help; over the past week or so my pc has been having a few problems (odd times games freezing). When I started looking through the Windows event viewer, I noticed quite a lot of errors from the disk, ie. bad blocks;

After looking at SMART info, I see this;

When looking at the reallocated block count, it seems to be 51 (when converted into base 10). I used to think seeing anything there with a normal HDD would mean it would need replacing? Although being a ssd I didnt think they went down as often.

Hopefully someone out there understands the SMART info better and could tell me if the drive is failing. Im a bit confused as Crystal Info is saying the drive is 100% good?

I do hope its not the driving dying as its not that old, and expensive to replace.

hi there, well Windows seems pretty slow to start-up now - 15/20 seconds. A few odd times in BF1 I had the game freeze (I thought it was the game). It seems to tie-up with Windows event log, as it lists bad block error at the same time as BF1 freezing up.

I could try swapping the cables/port, although I thought the SMART info was saying wrong with the drive itself (ie. bad blocks)? Would a cable/port cause such an issue? The drive has been in the system for around 2 years without any problems, just recently its been misbehaving.

[Update] The drive has gotten so bad that Windows doesnt load; https://www.facebook.com/roguey.co.uk/photos/pcb.1670385796307192/1670381012974337/?type=3&theater
