I have had a ssd as my boot drive for sometime now so impressed with the silence and speed just bought another for games :)

Do i just connect it and power up and format like i have done a million times with conventional hard drives , or is there some special way of doing it ?

I'd recommend that you just keep an eye on space and uninstall/move to another drive the games that you aren't using :). Oh, and if you use Steam you can use GameSaveManager or SteamMover to make it so not all games that use Steam are running off the SSD to save some space.

i still have 2 x samsung f3 1tb drives in my system . The games i play the most will be on the ssd and the others on the normal drives , i have 45 steam games they take up just over 200gb .

Ill get a bigger ssd in the future , but right now im happy :-)
