Yes OCZ is still around. They have been bought out by Toshiba and they have new drives coming out. We should be getting some samples shortly and we will be testing them on our new test rig we have for SSD's and M.2 drives. I hope to start posting some of the scores next week as to how a current crop of drives perform as an OS drive and then second drive.
Interesting read. I've read an article recently and the Crucial SSD's were voted very highly. I have had both an Intel 330 SSD and Kingston X SSD which worked very well at the time. The price of SSD's appear to have dropped significantly. I would consider getting the MX100 512GB in my next build and sticking games and Windows on the one drive.
