SSD for gaming

Hello,

So I have recently purchased a shiny new PC however the old drive that I have a lot of my games on is a little long in the tooth. I am planning on purchasing an additional SSD just for gaming. Do people have an opinion on whether there would be any noticable difference between a normal SSD and something like a Samsung 950 Pro 256GB M.2 PCI-e 3.0 x 4 NVMe Solid State Drive?

That minimal you won't notice it. If it's just for games a standard SSD is more than enough.
