SSD for Laptop

I've got an IBM T61 laptop which has got a 150gb HDD, what difference would I see if I replaced this for a SSD drive? and would it be possible?

Should be possible and from the sounds of it performance should be VERY good. Bootup in 20 seconds etc etc
