SSD for Samsung Ultrabook...

Looking to put a Samsung Pro SSD is my 530U Ultrabook. It will replace the 500GB hybrid drive thats already in there.

Am I likely to see much better on battery times with an SSD vs the Hybrid?

should do as theres no moving parts unlike a hdd or a hybrid drive

if your ultrabook is sata 2 speed only the cheaper non 840 pro is worth considering

Not much gains to worry about. Something like 10 mins, maybe a bit more with a very efficient SSD.

I've installed a 840 pro 128GB in my UX32A. The gain is about boot speed, program loading, responsiveness, and reliability. TBH, I would always go SSD on a ultrabook (As I did also on my UL30A), it's a great match.
