ssd fresh install

im a complete noob to ssd's just bought 1 of them OZC vertex 60gb ssd,
im planning to do a fresh install using the drive for os and a few game and using my 250gb hdd for data, is there anything i need to know when doing a fresh install or is it as straight forward as the hdd any advise would be great

Enable ACHI in the BIOS before install and have no other drives installed when installing the operating system.

ok mate thanks, will i need to format my other drive or can i just delete os of it and keep the games ect?

I would keep it as is for the time being, just in case you get any issues, you would need to find all the saved game data, if you use Steam I had some of mine on my SSD when I reinstalled Windows.

ok will do, how would you go about just deleting os of my old drive though

think im just going to format the old drive only a few games on there which i can download again, is there a way to setup up the second drive as the primary download drive if you know what i meen
