If im buying a SSD and a HDD what do i do on start up, whats the best way to set them up.

if someone could link me to a tutorial i would be very thankful

Connect both drives to their respective SATA ports, boot up and go into the bios and set your SSD as the primary boot device, simple as that.

"Sean's Windows 7 Install & Optimization Guide for SSDs & HDDs"

im going to be using win8 is there a big difference?

all you have to do is

plug in ssd
make sure sata ports are set to ahci mode in the bios
install windows
once installed add in the hdd
set ssd as first boot device in the bios

that's it

Make sure you install windows on the SSD before you install the HDD. Once windows is running, power down, plug in HDD and all done.

Just to add to that, you'll have to go into disk management in windows to assign the new HDD a drive letter before it can be used
