Just got hold of my M4's which arrived the other day and was wondering if I could plug one into my laptop (No idea if it can be tho) and copy my Steam folder to it as I want to keep all the games but I have a 40gb download limit now so I can't just re do them all :( After I've done that can I install windows on to my drive when I put it into my main computer (Fresh Install) and copy what games I have on that so that I can have all of them in the one place?

I will be using the drives seperatly untill I can afford to upgrade to sandybridge as my motherboard has the crappy marvel port thingys I've heard bad things about and wont get good speeds :(

Oh and are these drives plug and play? Or do I have to download new firmware or do somthing in the bios to see them and make them work?

Sorry for bad grammer and spelling typing this in a rush as I have to make my way to my mums where the laptop is :P

That would require me traviling back and forth a lot tho plus taking the laptop apart to get the HHD out. Could it be done my way tho?

Yeah will not be raiding them while on SATA2/Crappy SATA 3, Hopefully the laptop has a slot for it or I'll just have to borrow a portable hard drive :(
