SSD Help

Hey guys i got a 64GB SSD from the MM the otherday and i'm experiencing an issue. 3/4 of the time the SSD does not show in the POST when its detecting for hardware.
The SSD holds my OS so that means it wont boot. After a few retries it shows then i have to configure my BIOS to put the M4 on the top of the boot priority. This is a pain in the ass and i dont know why this is happening.

I've tried putting it in different SATA slots and different cables but no success.

My mobo has a nVidia chipset so AHCI is not supported.
Mobo:GA-M68MT-S2
Any help?

Can you test it in another PC to see if the same thing happens? If it does it looks like a faulty drive and you should be looking for a refund.

I cant see any way of testing it other than what you have already done. Probably consider sending it back for a refund.
