Long time since I used anything like Norton Ghost. What do you lot use for creating a backup image of your SSDs?

Win8.1 has a built in fucntion that i use to image my C:

With Macrium is it possible to image a win7 pc using the live-cd? That is, not actually install the software, but use it from a cd.
