SSD Info Needed

I have a 3gb hitachi HDT725040LA360 that has windows 7 and my smaller apps on, 500gb samsung HD501LJ drive with Games and Bigger Apps on. I also have a 1tb WD my book external for all my saved files. I've been looking at buying a Intel X25-M Mainstream 80GB 2.5" SATA-II Solid State Hard Drive but would it be worth the upgrade as £179.99 would be a lot to spend.

Don't matter you helpful people as i've took the plunge and brought intel ssd and its working great. Has anyone got and tips and does this drive need a firmware update.
