got me new computer the ssd drive is now at 30gb use so it leaves another 30gb ,just like to know when i will be using my other hard drive 1tb western and how i cant seem to able to accsess it it shows op in devices but when i go to put programs on the the larger disc it wont recognise it ,i mean how long will 30gb of spare space last me?

right im in computer managment and i see that i have an 931gb unallocated ,the other drives are showing healthy ?

931gb unalloacated suggest you need to format it.

I think you need to right click on the unnallocated space on the drive and choose format.

dude be careful, do not format one of your currently used drives, i am drunk after watching ashes so am no guru right now, but you should just be able to make a new simple volume. See the attachment on my last post.

EDIT; Create a new partition, leaving the drive size as what it defaults to which is the maximum, that will make your new drive recognisable.

Please let us know what you need the drive for though, if you want part for programmes and part for storage it is best to separate them and it can be done so programmes are faster.
