I am only after a 256GB SSD, Maybe a 500GB if the price was right too, which is the go to one these days guys?

Another vote for Samsung 850 - EVO if budget is important, Pro if you want a reliable drive that will easily see you through the next 10 years.

These any good? Only reason it caught my eye is that i need an enclosure for a spare 2.5 or should i stick with Samsung?

checked your case hdd trays? some have mounting holes for 2.5" drives/ssd's

can mount it anywhere inside your case with Velcro or screwed to a spare/empty case fan grill
