SSD Mount

Hey all, I recently received a Samsung SSD 850 Evo 250gb as a present for my birthday.

I didn't realise that I needed to buy a mount and SATA - USB cable too, so currently it is still in the box.

Is there any specific type of mount I need or would any be fine?

SATA - USB cable? You don't need USB, just SATA cable and your power to it, assuming your PSU has some spare SATA Power connectors?

As above, that mount will be fine but they're so light you could just let it sit in the case, or just screw it in on one side of a standard 3.5 bay if the holes line up OK

Spare/unused fan grill vents/holes are good as well,screw it to that,I have mine that way

I just use double sided tape, like the kind you get on command strips. you can mount it anywhere in your case then

Out of interest...what case do you have?

Many cases these days already have 3.5 bays predrilled to mount 2.5 drives.
