ssd mounting

is it ok to use double sided tape to secure an ssd ? do they get hot enough to make the sticky fail ?

Mine is secured at the rear of the hard drive cage with velcro sticky tape. No problem at all.

Note sure about double sided tape though seems a bit risky of it falling off.

will get some velcro then, am taking 2 out of a mount to get an extra rad in

Got some strong double sided tape from wilkinsons and used 2 strips and attatched it to top of dvdrw. Probs didnt even need it but nice and secure anyhow even when testing if cables were in ok.

So yeah fine. Also nope, they wont get anywhere neat hot enough for issues.

i have a roll of car trim tape already, never thought of on top of dvd drive

Also remember if you have a floppy disc drive bay well that would be a nice little place to place it as well.
