I have a mx100 512 already for my system/game drive.

Clicked the 'buy' button for another before I knew it (saw a good deal and snatched at it).

So before I break the seal ...

I have 5 drives in my system: 1 mx100 512 and the rest are Seagate high capacity drives, 1 aaks WD

1. system/games
2. misc drive
3. large files
4. files from my old systems that I backup
5. trash drive - trash drive is a drive I transfer everything from the net/work/system to and then send it off to one of the other drives - meaning it gets used a lot.

atm using an old aaks WD drive - so I could either use one of my new seagates (now have 1 3tb 7200rpm or 2 4tb 5900rpm) ... or keep this other mx100 512 and use that.

what do you think?

Seems like a total waste of time you don't need the speed and SSD's are more sensitive to large amounts of writes than mech drives.

so using the drive for something that will have common writes and deletes would be suggested as it will wear down quicker? - maybe 5 gigs a day.

Could save it for games etc too - my 256 filled up quite quick - why I went for a 512 - would have went larger but 512 is all crucial did for the mx100.
