As a new user to SSD drives would just like to confirm I have set it up right.

Have enabled AHCI in bios, disabled system restore and defrag but would like to know if I'm missing anything else? Also, is trim automatically enabled or something i must do myself? On Windows 7 btw.

Thanks :)

You can reduce page file to around 2gb,this will save you another chunk of ssd space depending on how much ram you have installed

Cheers guys

Just looking into Virual Memory settings and the currently allocated is 16367mb,i take it that is normal if you let windows manage it itself (have 16gb ram installed). If i uncheck the "Automatically manage paging file size for all drives" and set a custom size do i just put Initial size (MB) = 2000MB + Maximum size (MB) = 2000MB or would you recommend something else. Thanks.

another thing worth disabling is system restore.

I have nothing on my OS SSD that I cannot re download so I disable this to save on space and I never use it anyway
