SSD not recognised

Hi all,

Fairly new build (bout a month old) went to defrag my 2*1 tb raid setup and found that my SSD was on the list of defragable hard drives.

I have the : Crucial RealSSD C300 128GB 2.5" SATA 6Gb/s Solid State Hard Drive

How do I set the computer to recognise it as a SSD?

It will be on the list of drives that can be defragmented. However if you try and schedule defragmention it shouldn't be in the list of selectable disks. Assuming you are talking about Windows defrag. At least that is how it is for me.

Note I never actually ran the defrag on C:, I just analysed it out of curiosity
