ssd not showing up

my ssd stopped showing up in my bios after trying to reinstall windows any ideas if its gone belly up cheers ppl

Try putting it on a different SATA port. I had a similar issue with mine until putting it on SATA port 1.

Already tried on all ports and it was working fine untilled I got random blue screens n error messages when it loaded win 7 winload missing or corrupted

Can you test the motherboard/cables with another disk? Do you have an enclosure that you can put your SSD in?

My (6 month old) Vertex 2e 120GB died yesterday. It no longer appears in the BIOS. RMA in progress...

tried that to, it started showing up today but i only got as far as "expanding files" while trying to install windows then nothing

Tee Hee, I thought I was going to have the same issue myself, I have the OCZ Agility 3 running 2.11 and on saturday night I had left computer on to DL a large file, on Sunday I seen it was hanging on windows boot asking to insert media and press a button to continue....

Few reboots later and still not showing in BIOS or post so I let it sit for 20 mins and cold booted and it went straight to windows first time.

This is the first issue I've had with the drive in 3 months so I'd suggest possibly installing 2.13 (as I will do this evening) and see if that helps at all, providing you can find it on BIOS first, if not RMA the face off it
