Not sure how but one of my SSD's is not working.

One morning the computer was extremly slow so thought I would reboot. When I restarted the computer wouldn't boot to Windows. I unplugged one of the SSDs and it then would get into windows.

I have tried putting the drive in another computer, connecting with USB etc.
It is recognised but shows as a removable drive with no media in Vista Disk Management.
I have also tried a million tools to try and reformat etc. but they all come up saying cannot access disk or write to sector 0 and so on.
I got the data off by using Acronis Disk Director which is fine but I would prefer not to RMA it if not needed.

What else can I try?
The drive is an OCZ Solid Series 30GB.

Cheers
Paul

Hehe, "Solid" indeed? :p

If it were me, I'd send it off for RMA. If you're lucky, they might upgrade you to a better drive instead of an outright replacement.

Thanks, I think I will have to RMA it as I havnt had any working suggestions from the guys at the OCZ Forum.

I'll hive them another couple of days while I get support for a keyboard aswell and then just RMA them together.

I'm not having much luck at the mo as I already have a monitor off being tested. Maybe its me!

Maybe ground yourself while you are using your equipment? :D
