Just bought a Dell Optiplex 3050 SFF
I decided, as I had a spare Sandisk Pro SSD 250g, to use that instead of the origional HDD.
So I did a disk backup off the orgional HDD using Easeus Partition Master Pro to my NAS. I then fitted the SSD and did a retore to that.
Re-booted and all fine and dandy.
I decided I better buy a 3.5 to 2.5 cradle so that its not rattling around, fitted it and now the bios does not see the SSD WTF!!
I fitted the origian drive and thats fine.
I fitted the SDD to my other PC and that sees it ok.
I also tried a different data cable to the SSD on the Dell but no joy.
I checked the bios SATA Opperation and thats set to AHCI.
I am at a loss as to why its no longer being seen in the bios so and suggestion greatfully recd
