I use the OCZ 60gb in my main system which I put common used programs on and the rest go on the 1TB Drive (Samsung)

The ssd will be your boot drive, and windoz will load in an instant (well almost) Add a sata hard drive 1 TB for eg for all you programs. Just remember that some installation software defaults to the c: drive ie your ssd drive. Change to your next drive and you'll be fine.

when you mean common used programs like what exactly ,do i put me adobe elements and premiere on the 1tb hard drive for example ,would it possible to run 2 60gb vertex ssd drives ,or will there be complications?

what about raid and things i often see people operating two drives in raid is this set in the bios ? has anyone run more than 1 ssd drive

You lose TRIM when you raid ssds (stops them losing performance over time). If I subtract files and games from my os drive, a year ish old install of W7, then I have used 55gb of space. Most programs (office, firefox, drivers etc) don't add up to that much really, although W7 64bit is 20gb by itself.
