I bought a 64Gb M4 from the MM about a month ago but I'd been rather lazy in getting round to installing it (damn you Skyrim!) but at the weekend I finally pulled my finger out and set about going to do it. Now this is my first SSD but I already knew ahead of time that the thing was small so I got myself an OCZ 2.5" to 3.5" adaptor, one of these jobbies:
Now if you're not familiar with the P182, it has 2 hard drive cages but I can only use the bottom one due to a fan and PCI-E cables getting in the way of the top one. Not a problem anyway I thought as I had ample space in the bottom one but imagine my suprise when I tried to install the bracket!

As you can see the thing is nowhere near long enough and even if it was, the bottom hole isn't in the right place for you to be able to screw it in. In retrospect yes I should've looked at the cage before I bought the adapter but it seems short sighted of OCZ to not make the bracket longer in the first place and either add or move the last set of holes to accomodate this kind of mounting system. It didn't matter in the end anyway as I found a solution

It seems secure enough and it's definitely better than the alternatives I found by doing a bit of Googling i.e. double side sticky tape or leaving the thing loose in your case!
