ssd old rig

hey guys

ive recently bought the parts for my new rig. last couple of things come tomorrow. was just wondering if i would run into any problems with my ssd if i quickly put it into my current pc to install windows 7 so as soon as its built i can get started. also having fibre broadband installed tomorrow so the less i need to do the better

the ssd is the 256gb samsung 840 pro if it makes any difference

Quick answer - don't do it! (Unless your new rig is exactly the same hardware spec as your current one, which is highly unlikely )

There's a chance that Windows might limp along after managing to sort itself out, but why take the risk? Just install it fresh on your new hardware and save yourself all the hassle
