SSD or Hybrid drive?

[rippling]

i am waiting for my new alienware m17x to arrive , not Dell wanted a stupid £500 for an ssd drive!
would it be a good idea to fit one ? either a vertex 3 or hybrid drive?

it is a games machine so all i need is space for my games so i could keep the 320gb 7200 harddrive to store most things but install windows and my fav games on the ssd?

depends if it has space for another drive, and I would think a m17x would have another drive bay somewhere.

Not a fan of the Momentus. If you gonna spend on a SSD, maybe worth also getting another HD to keep the current drive intact in case of RMA and whatnot. Hopefully accessing the drive bays won't void warranty.
