SSD or M.2 drive for OS

Hi guys, I have a 1TB M.2 and a 1TB SSD, wondering which one I should use for the OS and which one I should use for games?

Yeah it's the WD Blue SN550 mate.

My next build will use an NVME as the main drive.

NVME for both if possible!
I'd use it for booting though.
You should have room for some games too. Others can overflow onto an SSD.
