Edit Solved : Turns out i connected it up to the generic controller when i tidied the cables in my case, changed it back to the intel one and things seem to be back to normal. Mods feel free to close thread.
Hello,
So i just switched over to give the Windows 8 customer preview a try and notices my SSD has had a significant performance drop. In Windows 7 i was getting around the slated 560 mb/s speeds but under Windows 8 I'm only getting around 370 mb/s.
Should i just chalk this up to the win 8 motherboard drivers not being mature enough or have i managed to brake my SSD
also, my SSD no longer shows up in ocz toolbox but in device manager it is clearly labelled 'OCZ vertex 4 etc'
Both speed tests were done using Crystal Disk 3.0.1
Any information would be appreciated.
