SSD Placement

Hey, i just ordered myself a SSD the other day and i will not be receiving a Adapter Plate with it. So im just wondering is it safe to have it sitting on top of another HDD or on my PSU?

an ssd can be placed practically anywhere

Yes stick it anywhere that's convenient. No moving parts no heat.

theres a minimal amount of heat would be more accurate.

Personally I wouldn't stick it on top of another hard drive but if you have a free slot you could use the bungee method that some people use for 3.5inch drives in a 5.25 inch bays... basically elastic band or similar strung from one side to the other.
