SSD poor speeds?

Ive just installed my ssd vertex 2e. ive ran tests on it with a few benchmark programmes and im only getting 150 read and write. its set to achi in bios. so why are the speeds so poor?

Test using ATTO, but it sounds like it might be on a SATA 1 port if ATTO reads it that slow too.

i have 4 ports on my motherboard, white, navy blue and 2 light blue. which one does it need to be in. and also which ones do i then put my samsungs in mate

It would help if you told us which motherboard you have.

"Asus evo" isn't sufficient information.

its alright ive sorted it now mate. i had it connected to the white port on motherboard, and it should have been connected to the light blue. speeds are great now. 280 read and write
