How low will they go? I found an article on this below kind of semi explaining the situation right now. It concludes by saying to buy now basically as the market is unpredictable. Do you think we will see 1TB under £100 in 2018? At the time of writing this there is a 1TB available for £139 if you google.

That would be the sweet spot, a sub £100 1TB SSD.

I just forked out 90 sheets for a 500GB 860 EVO which is basically 2015 pricing - after the last few years, I'm more than happy paying it. It'll do me for the foreseeable future with regards to non video files. I could never afford the multiple TB's needed to hold my blu-ray rips/backups

looking at my purchase history a 500 GB samsung evo 850 was £137 just over three years ago (june 2015) today's price £95 no chance of 1tb under a £100 for years yet
