Hey, I waited for ages to see the new SSD releases thinking they would be cheaper, turns out they are much more expensive for less of everything.

I have sata3 so think now would be a good time to buy a c300 128gb or are they likely to drop in price with c400/m4 at the end of april. I accually been waiting for years saying I'll wait for a £/GB but can't resist any longer.

What are your predictions on the prices?

There's enough competitors that prices should come down once the stock of old models is shifted and production ramps up on the 2*nm models. It'll take a few months though and (as I've been saying for months) even then I don't expect prices to be significantly lower, 20-30% less than the previous gen at best rather than the halving in price that everyone seems to have assumed.
£1/GB is still a long way off (outside of loss-leading promotions), The limitations of NAND processes ensure that. I don't personally expect SSD's to drop below £1/GB until a new type of SSD based on different technology like PRAM which can be scaled down more easily.
