how come the large ssd drives are so overpriced, i always thought the more you get the less it cost's ( in theory ), but the intel 520 480gb drives are nearly £100 more expensive than 2 x 240gb drives, how does that work. nice looking drives though.
The problem is density, if you were simply getting two 240GB drives slapped together in one case then they would likely be cheaper, but to achieve the same form factor, the chip density has to double.
IMO, 240/256GB drives are the sweet spot currently (hence why I have one )
