SSD Problem

Just got myself a OCZ vertex 2 60gb drive, changed to ACHI in the bios but when i start up now it sits on a page stating "ACHI DRIVE INIT" for about 2 minutes before it loads up windows 7. Is this normal or am i doing something wrong, cheers.

Have also put this in the hard drive section.

doesn't sound normal. Mine is AHCI as well and I have no such problems.

No clue what's wrong though.

CH SATA Control Mode: AHCI
SATA Port 0-3 Native Mode: Enabled
Onboard SATA/IDE Device: Disabled
Onboard SATA/IDE Ctrl Mode: AHCI (Greyed out)

Its driving me mad, thought these things were meant to speed things up but now takes over twice as long to get into windows.

i have the 40gb version and takes seconds to boot win 7 in a useable state.
