Oh dear, I have just installed a Crucial M4 ssd 128gb but it isn't showing, i can see my hdd and two optical drives but there is no sign of the ssd.

when I first booted the computer after install i got a message that M4 driver was successfully installed. What's going on?? Please help.

You need to look in Disk management if the SSD isn't formatted.

Right click on My Computer, select manage, click on Disk Management then right click on the shaded unallocated drive space to format and assign a drive letter.

Or access through Control Panel/Admin Tools/Computer Management/Disk Management.

Thanks man, that did the trick :-)
