SSD Problem

So I just made my new pc today, I got it started and it worked fine, I installed windows onto my ssd which worked fine aswell. The problem came when I shut down, plugged in my hdd(this is because I previously unplugged the hdd so I wouldnt install windows onto it by accident.) and changed the boot priority to the ssd.

Once this happened I could not start my computer with windows. I then tried to switch back to the windows disk, and see what was happening. When I got to the part where you choose which drive to install to the ssd wasnt there even though it was showing in the bios.

Could anyone help me? Thanks in advance.

edit: I also tried to boot override onto my ssd, if that would have made any difference.

Tried unplugging the hdd again n see if it boots off the ssd? If so try with the hdd plugged into the Intel sata2 port

I tried that and it didnt work, I just keep going to the bit where it wants you to install windows even though I already installed it on my ssd.

Does the HDD have Windows installed on it? Was it using IDE or AHCI mode?

Did you set AHCI mode (in BIOS) before installing to the SSD?

Plug the SSD into port0, it should then default to that as first boot drive.

The ssd has windows installed on it, it was using AHCI mode by default, and it has been plugged into port0 the whole time. It was originally working, but I couldnt see the hdd. So I tried changing the boot priorities but changed back after. The problem mainly came when I chose to boot override to the ssd, and sometihngh called xpress recovery2 came up.
