SSD problems....

I have a Patriot 64GB SSD P100 I bought last August. Lately I have been having big issues with the PC freezing and going very slow.

I use the Drive as my boot Windows drive and have x2 1TB drives for Steam and data.
General usage and boot time if fantastic, but....
If I’m downloading straight to one of the normal disc drives the system runs fine. If im downloading to the SSD while using the system it runs terribly slow and freezes for a few seconds.

If I’m installing a piece of software to the SSD while using windows, again the same problem.

There's very little information on these SSD's as to how you would go about performing a secure erase on them or updating the firmware. I would seek to perform a secure erase on the SSD and then try a clean install but again there's little information available on how to do this with these SSD's. Stick a post up on their support forum and see what they say.
