I am thinking of installing a 64gb SSD, but my OS with files is 65gb. I have 1 game installed and a couple of benchmarking programs - probably about 7 gb in total. I don't have any photos or music, so I am not sure what is taking up all the space. Is there any way I can trim it down?

Is there a way of just ghosting over Win 7 i.e 16 gb?

Cheers

I've just installed win7 on a new crucial m4 64gb. After all the updates and drivers installed, I have about 27gb free :)
I could free some space on it I think :)

With my SSD I disabled Hibernation as I don't use it which saves quite a bit of space and also reduced the amount of space allocated for system restore. Best bet is to do a clean install with your new SSD by the way.
