SSD: Quick Question

[On Holiday]

I'm going to buying the OCZ Vertex 2E 120GB within the next week but I'm wondering:

Would internet security / anti-virus scan's take less time on an SSD than it would on a HDD ?

Specs of SSD:

- Maximum Read: 285MB/sec
- Maximum Write: 275MB/sec
- Sustained Write: 250MB/sec
- Max I/O Per Second (IOPS): 50000 IOPS (4KB File)
