I have the Asus P5Q pro turbo and want more performance than my OCZ agility 3 (50gb) is offering. Mainly for database use but want a generally fast as possible machine. (intend to overclock soon).

First up can i SSD raid on this mobo?

What kind of speeds should i expect? / Would the IOPS double since raiding?

What SSD is best to raid; with TRIM, BGC etc?

Or i could table space; having windows 7 on one SSD and the database plus other programs on the other. But then i wont get the full speed of raid, right?

For speed I can't see raid been any benefit as that board is Sata 2 which is pretty much going to be maxed out by one SSD.

A couple of Sammy EVO's would run nicely.
