I have recently just setup raid 0 on 2 Sandisk extreme 120Gb SSD but write speeds are faster than my read speeds has anyone else known of this problem or how i can fix it?

Run ATTO: http://www.techpowerup.com/downloads/1749/ATTO Disk Benchmark v2.46.html
Then post a screenshot of it.

Your sig is too big as well, it needs to be 4 lines max.

Heres my screenshot of the speed as requested...

Could have at least cropped the picture :p.

But yes, seems a bit weird for the write speeds to be higher than the read speeds. Could be the RAID controller? Not sure what you can do to fix it, but it's blazing fast anyway not to affect performance.

It's not, raided write speeds on two higher end ssd's is usually faster than the write, Vertex 4's are the same(if you assume they are the fastest drives around). Likewise 4kb random write is higher than random read on basically any single or raid setup on the past 4-5 generations of drives, random read is basically capped to circa 30mb's and has been for 3 years, random write is much easier for the controller to deal with.
