any noticeable differences in RAID 0 reliability between ssd hdds and regular hdds?

Hi I did have two Vertex's in Raid 0 using Vista 64, but read an article (somewhere) that there wasn't much difference, so when I upgraded to Windows 7 Ultimate 64, I just put the one on as the windows bootable disc, and there wasn't much if any in speed difference using the Intel onboard controller.
my opinion you won't see much difference, I didn't!

Main benefit of RAIDing SSD drives is your reducing write wear.

Depending on your drive firmware, garbage collection will achieve the same thing, for those that don't have garbage collection, Intel Matrix drivers should allow Trim in the next update - of course your drive needs to support Trim though in the first place, and if it has Trim it's likely to have Garbage Collection anyway.
