SSD Raid

Hey all.

I was thinking of getting another 128GB Crucial M4 to complement the one I have.

I was wondering if I am correct in thinking that using Raid will disable TRIM?

If so, anyone have any experience of running Raid with the SSD storing the OS plus a couple of games?

They are fast.

It is just that I am running out of room on my current one, so I wanted to increase the space available. Raiding achieves this, and an increase in performance is never a bad thing.

One other thing has just occured to me.

I have a Xigmatech Elysium case with a hot swap caddie built into the top.

If I change from AHCI to RAID, will this still work?
