I recently sent a misbehaving OCZ Agility on RMA and was hoping for a quick turnaround but was informed by email that it has been sent back to the manufacturer and could take up to 28 days:eek:
has anybody been luckier...

Just sent one back to Crucial in Scotland. Posted Monday 2pm and received the new one in the post on Friday morning. Not OCZ i know but I was pretty immpressed with this. They kept me up to date via email when they received it/tested/despatched.
Nice little upgrade to. M225 to a C300 :)

Very good indeed:p
Unfortunately for me unless I am mistaken I believe OCZ is based in San Jose California...:(

I think i would just buy a new one while i RMAed one since i could then have a good excuse to use one for games and my other half wouldn't ask questions :)

Turn around is around 2 weeks. You send the defective drive to Netherlands where it will be checked. Once confirmed faulty. they will inform taiwan to send you a replacement straight away which could take another 3 to 4 working days. Thats how I got mine replaced.

Thanks for that. I guess I would just have to be patient...
It is just hard to revert to my old samsung F3 320 as once you've experienced SSD, spinners become so slow. I might have to jump to the new sandforce vertex if the wait becomes unbearable:(

At least you might get an Agility2 back, so a slight upgrade.

That's why I'd consider Crucial, for quickness. But with the change to a C300 you lost 2 years warranty? As total of 3 years for the C300 range instead of 5 years for M225 range, probably dated from original purchase date still.

That would be brilliant:D

3 Years warranty is just fine as I believe that in even just a year time, we'll be considering newer and faster storage. Anyway, while waiting for the agility I bought a 60GB vertex 2 and will be doing a fresh install this weekend. Cheers folks
