Anyways, Corsair 120GB Force GT SSD.

Deffo a "need" and not a "want".
Never a want, ever ;)

opinions/problems/issues?

Cheers

Your motherboard supports sata3? Not a problem per-se, but the SSD will max out sata2 transfer rates.

The Force GT is a popular drive. Also consider the Crucial M4 and Vertex3, but I am of the opinion that there will be little difference in performance as an OS drive, especially if you are capped by sata2 rates. What it comes down to is reliability and compatibility.

Just ordered a 128GB Crucial m4 for 140 quid, with TCB and Quidco should work out to be about £100.

I wonder if both TCB and Quidco can be claimed......

Good choice, the speed difference from HDD to SSD in incredible! choice well made sir!
