Hello

After installing my ssd drive (M4 128gb) I get a boot up time of 52 sec's that's seem slow compared to people claiming 10-20 sec's any ideas what this could be down to!

I've installed all the latests drivers/updates.

My speeds are here: http://forums.overclockers.co.uk/showthread.php?t=18374016

I am happy with these speeds, just the boot up time, this could be right? would like your thoughts on what you think?

Thanks in advance!!

Did you set to ahci mode in BIOS? If not Google reg tweak for ahci after win7 install, turn off any un needed SATA ports like Marvell ect,it will improve boot time as BIOS doesn't scan for those ports

I think its a driver issues as this sdd came out of my laptop and boot up time was 10 sec,

don't why laptop booted up within that time, and this high end system takes 50 sec's to boot up?

Stressed? lol

are you timing it from windows starts to load, as taht is what people consider to be the boot time.

If you include all the bios/raid controllers/sata controllers it adds a lot more to it. my windows boot is 17 seconds, but if i take into account everything else then its more like a minute to load 4 sata/esata/raid controllers which all insist on having a "press this to enter configuration or enter to continue" type message, which I cant get rid of or change the wait time on them :(

Mine shows 14 seconds with your program, with an agility 3 in the marvel port.

Have you tried making a partition and doing a fresh install? First time I installed onto this drive I was getting silly long boot times, but a fresh install sorted things out.
