SO in my rig in Sig Ive got a 60gb ssd doing OS and a 120gb with steam installed and some other larger installers
Now Im starting to see I will need more space and although I could buy more drive/s
But I do have 4(maybe even 6) 500gb seagates that are not really being used would it be worth running these on the Intel controller I have spare in a raid 0 and formatting it as a folder in steam to give me more room?
Anyone have any idea how fast and what the latency would be like on an array like that? part of me is just tempted to get on a try it.
Also anyone know more about short stroking these? is there a good and bad way to only format some of the space dont really need a 2+tb array in this rig. (got a 9tb file server)
